I love the quote from Henry Ford, “if you always do what you’ve always done, you’ll always get what you’ve always got.” Ahem, Mr. Ford, that should be, “always get what you’ve always gotten. I don’t care how much money the guy earned, you know, I’m a stickler for good grammar.
But it’s a fantastic quote. If you want more out of life, you have to do more. It doesn’t matter what area you’re trying to improve either…money, happiness, relationships, knowledge, skill…you will always get out at least what you put in. We receive in exact proportion to the amount of service we give and to the amount of effort we put forth, so if you want more, give more. It probably seems so simple…that’s because it is.
Do just a little more today than you did yesterday. Do this everyday, and you will always be progressing, always be improving, and always be becoming a better person. And soon it will become so easy to do more that you’ll wonder every day why the hell you did so little yesterday – IRRATIONAL LIVING
