Whether you admit it or not, you make excuses. Excuses for things you should do, and for things you could do that you want to do.
I read a great quote yesterday: “If you really want to do something, you will find a way. If you don’t, you will find an excuse.” It comes from Jim Rohn.
I know that life is hard sometimes, and that circumstances will never be perfect for you to do what you really want to do in life. But in my research and reading, I’ve found that the people who really make it in this world are the ones who scoff at circumstances, the ones who recognize the risk and how “impossible” a task may seem, and do it anyway. BREAK THE RULES.
I believe it would greatly benefit you if you got to this point. Get to the place where you can look at some difficulty (be it money or whatever may be holding you back) and laugh at it. You’re a human…not just the apex predator, but the apex everything. You can do anything you want. Of course, make sure you really want that particular thing before you jump in. But once you want it and connect an emotional need to it, it’s done.
Life’s hard, so live it hard. IRRATIONAL LIVING,LLC
