The Dalai Lama Will Speak at the Glastonbury Festival

TIME

Revelers at the Glastonbury Festival will have a dose of spirituality to go with their pop music this year.

The Dalai Lama has been scheduled to speak at the outdoor festival on Sunday to share a “message of compassion, nonviolence and the oneness of humanity,” the New York Times reports. Patti Smith and The Who will also perform that day; the lineup also includes Kanye West, Pharrell Williams, Mary J. Blige, Florence + the Machine and someone who is actually older than the Dalai Lama: Burt Bacharach.

The spiritual leader will tour the farm in South West England where the festival takes place, according to organizers, and will give his speech from its Green Fields space.
