Limiting Doubts

”Limiting doubts are thoughts you have about your inability to do something. limit your doubts. Doubts are natural…they’ll creep in every now and then but you HAVE to get rid of them as soon as possible. You have to limit them. The time your mind spends thinking about anything is precious…don’t let something as useless as doubt monopolize your mind’s time – Dan Simms

I formed my company and wrote my book based on the idea that more people needed to know about the fact that our minds are the most powerful things we possess. Belief (and persistence) in anything you do will propel you into greatness, and I honestly believe that. Doubt, however, will always trip you up, regardless of what else you have going for you.

Limiting doubts are thoughts you have about your inability to do something. I’ve described it as your subconscious mind stopping you from wasting energy. If you don’t really believe something is possible, your subconscious mind won’t let you give it the energy it requires, because it believes it would be a waste. Here’s a quote from Franklin D. Roosevelt that I love: “The only limit to our realization of tomorrow will be our doubts of today. Let us move forward with strong and active faith.” I believe that if you have an irrational belief in your ability, nothing can stop you.

Now for the second meaning: limit your doubts. Doubts are natural…they’ll creep in every now and then but you HAVE to get rid of them as soon as possible. You have to limit them. The time your mind spends thinking about anything is precious…don’t let something as useless as doubt monopolize your mind’s time. Doubts are not the end of progression, they’re just hiccups.
